This spherical shape is great if you like to hold a warm mug in your hands. The glaze was very cooperative, producing rich blue with golden highlights.  And, yes, for those of you who are wondering, the three white places near the bottom of the glaze line are, in fact from my fingers where I held the pot when glazing it.  Some people might call that a defect – I would argue very adamantly that it is NOT a defect, and it is, in fact, part of what makes “hand made” so special.  You let me know if you find an impression of the maker’s fingerprints on anything you buy from a big box store.  I’m just saying... About four inches tall.
