Makers transform ordinary materials into extraordinary objects and awaken our souls.
Makers are compelled to concoct, compose, and conjure. Makers create tangible synergy
by merging ingredients in sacred proportions. Makers engage the Earth, seek no substitute for time,
embrace the harmony of process, and leave a legacy of objects. Makers breathe life into
otherwise inanimate material. Makers invoke the ancient magic of air, earth, water, and fire.
Given time, flour, water, yeast and salt form bread in the transformative heat of fire.
But, the maker is the heart of the process.
Given time, Silica, Sodium, and Calcium form glass in the transformative heat of fire.
But, the maker is the heart of the process.
Given time, soft, malleable clay, the very body of the Earth, forms durable ceramic in
the transformative heat of fire. But, the maker is the heart of the process.
I am Keith Parsley, and I have always been a Maker.
