Rutile Blue Medium Spouted Jug
I’ve been on a little bit of a kick, lately, making jugs that just sneak under a six inch kiln post. This is one that turned out especially well. The Rutile Blue Glaze (oh, don’t worry, it’s just a technical term for an impure kind of iron ore) did just what it was designed to do. The soft red iron highlights transition in and out of the milky blues tones – and you should really see it in the sunlight! Approximately six inches tall.
