A pottery buddy of mine calls these "Hamburger Jars", because when you take the lid off, it kind of looks like the top and bottom of a hamburger bun.  I'm not sure what else to call them, so I plan to borrow his term - thanks Dennis!! ;-)  This is the "front" view, and it was in the May 2016 Wood Firing.  It continues to amaze me that there is no glaze at all on this piece, and everything we see on the surface is from the hot gases and wood ash in the kiln.
