Wood Fired Shino Bottle Front
This short, slightly squat porcelain Shino bottle is almost everything a potter could ask for in wood-fired Shino. The front and back of the pot clearly define the flame direction with raw ash deposits on the cool side melting into the glaze, and the ash on the hot side of the pot melting to form additional glassy streaks. Flashing and highlights abound throughout this dynamic little pot.
