It sounds strange, but glazes have personalities.  This black, glossy Celadon is the beautiful person you know who is also camera shy!  Getting a photo of that high gloss finish while still capturing all the depth and color development below the surface is a real trick!  But, take this mug full of your favorite hot beverage outside on your sun-soaked deck or patio, and you will be amazed.  Just be sure to empty it before you start turning it over! :-)
